Kathrin Kalau-Reus

Kathrin Kalau-Reus has been working for the Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK) since 2009. The BVK manages the business of twelve professional and municipal pension institutions that provide retirement, disability and survivors' benefits for their members and insured persons. With EUR 105 billion AUM, the pension institutions of Bayerische Versorgungskammer are among the largest institutional investors in Germany.

After studying German literature and philosophy at the Free University of Berlin, Kathrin Kalau-Reus initially worked as a PR officer for Bayerische Versorgungskammer from 2009 to 2015, focusing on capital investment.

After receiving her Master of Business Administration (MBA), she switched to the field of capital investments and was entrusted with the asset classes of private equity, infrastructure and timber as an investment manager since 2015 and as a senior investment manager since 2019.

Since 2021, Kathrin Kalau-Reus manages the asset classes Private Equity, Infrastructure and Timber with a total volume of EUR 19 billion.
