Dr Sofia Harrschar is Head of Alternative Investments & Strurcturing, Member of the Board and Executive Director at Universal Investment. She is responsible for the groupwide product unit with all aspects of investments in Private Equity, Private Debt, Loans and Securitisations as well as structuring of complex investment projects and their implementation on Universal Investment’s German, Luxembourg and Ireland platforms. Sofia joined Universal Investment in 2011 and has more than 23 years of extensive expertise and experience in alternative investments. Sofia earned a degree in business administration at the J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where she also received her doctorate in finance. Before joining Universal Investment, she worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Prime Capital.
