Organizer

With the BAI Alternative Investor Conference (AIC), the BAI, as an association and representative of the alternative investment industry in Germany, would like to offer the participants a platform for the professional exchange of ideas and furthermore contribute significantly to the fact that the topic of alternative investments is received with a better understanding by the public. The BAI AIC is primarily aimed at institutional investors, but it also offers product providers and service providers an ideal opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss the latest findings and trends in the AI industry. 

Alternative investments are playing an increasingly important role in the portfolios of institutional investors due to their positive characteristics in terms of risk mitigation and the opportunity for higher returns. Interest has also been growing steadily for years among investors from Germany, with the result that many institutional investors are now also increasingly investing in alternative investments.

Program

We offer the participants of the conference a varied programme with highly topical and entertaining lectures and panel discussions over a total of two days. Again, a pre-event on "Law and Regulation" will take place in the afternoon before the AIC. Please note that the number of participants for this event will be limited to approx. 120 - 150 people.

Get-together

A get-together of institutional investors and members will take place again this year, but this year at the Zoo Gesellschaftshaus. The investor dinner will again take place immediately before the Get-together speech (18:00-20:30). The get-together for guests not attending the investor dinner will start at 7:00 pm at the Zoo Gesellschaftshaus, the Get-together speech will take place at 9 pm - i.e. after the Investor Dinner has ended. Food and drinks will be offered, a shuttle service will be available.

Workshop for institutional investors

Representatives of institutional end investors (insurers, foundations, pension funds, pension funds, single family offices) responsible for capital investments will report on their own experiences with investments in alternative investments at the investor workshop on Wednesday, 24 April 2024. Following the presentations, the participants - who will be composed exclusively of end investors during the workshop - will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss.
