Jens Hennes studied banking at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He worked for Commerzbank AG in Essen and Düsseldorf for four years, advising institutional clients, particularly in the areas of interest rate and currency management as well as asset management. In 2005, Jens Hennes moved to the pension fund of the North Rhine Chamber of Pharmacists. He has been Managing Director there since 2013. Jens Hennes was appointed Chief Executive Officer on January 1, 2023. He has been responsible for listed and alternative investments, member administration and finance and accounting since 2013. He has also been Managing Director of the pension fund of the North Rhine Veterinary Chamber since 2016. Jens Hennes also teaches and lectures at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management and the European Business School. He teaches risk management, banking and real estate economics.
