Dr. David Jansen is a partner in the asset management department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. He advises asset management companies on investment law issues in connection with fund structuring, outsourcing, distribution and the requirements for proper business organization. In addition, he advises institutional investors such as insurance companies, fund of funds managers and family offices on their fund investments. Regular topics include advising on sustainability-related requirements for investment funds and comparable investment products. A further focus of his work is advising on regulatory requirements for capital investments by life insurers and comparable capital collection agencies. David Jansen is co-author of Beck-Verlag's gray commentary on the German Capital Investment Code (KAGB) and regularly lectures on investment and regulatory issues.
