Rizwan is responsible for the distribution of BlackRock's growing suite of Private Credit products in the region. Rizwan joined BlackRock in 2013 within our iShares & Wealth (iSW) business. He was part of the iSW institutional sales team in Germany and responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with insurance companies and asset managers. He has helped to establish the insurance segment for iSW in EMEA with big success before he expanded his role during the internal iShares and BlackRock Retail merger to strategically develop the Asset Management coverage. In this capacity Rizwan was the account captain of some of our largest SPP clients and leading the index business across the entire iSW Asset Management franchise in Germany. His main responsibility was to drive the index adoption within the segment and to ensure that BLK is best positioned in this strategic segment.

Rizwan earned a Master Degree in Management from Johann-Wolfgang Goethe University and earned a BSc in International Finance from the University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt am Main. He is fluent in German, English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
