Andreas Poestges is Chairman of the Board of Management of Pensionskasse für die Angestellten der BARMER Ersatzkasse VVaG, Wuppertal and Wuppertaler Pensionskasse VVaG, Wuppertal. As a qualified banker, during his many years of experience at various renowned banks, he was responsible, among other things, for securing overall bank refinancing and, as Co-Head, managed trading activities in the overall Domestic Fixed Income complex, including support for major institutional clients such as insurance companies and funds. After moving to Trinkaus Capital Management, he took over the management of special and public funds as a director of the bank. As a member of the management board of a large corporate pension fund, he was responsible, among other things, for the restructuring of investments and the development and implementation of modern reporting standards before being appointed to the management board of Barmer Pensionskasse in 2004.
