Christoph Wichmann has been responsible for investments / asset management at the INTER Insurance Group in Mannheim since 2018, with assets under management of almost ten billion euros. His work focuses on investment strategy and investment management.

After studying economics in Münster, he began his professional career in 1999 as a financial analyst at WestLB in Düsseldorf. Two years later, he obtained the postgraduate title of Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst from the German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management in Frankfurt. In 2005, he became Head of the Private Clients Research department, followed by a move to the insurance industry in 2012 to become Head of Investments at ROLAND Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-AG in Cologne. He is a member of the Club of Finance, an association of financial market experts that aims in particular to promote the interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge in the various segments of the financial services industry.
